Headlight Low Beam and Fog Light HID INstall

I will be ordering HID's for the low beams and fog lights for my 2008 FX35.

Is any special harnesses needed for installation or are they just completely plug and play for Low beams and fog lights?

How easy is it to install them?

The FX comes equipped with its own Hid system on the headlights, so you just have to remove the old bulb and replace with the new one. For the fogs, you'll have to either remove the bumper :

Or the inner wheel well liner to be able to reach them. Make sure you place the ballas on a safe secure spot.

Hopefully it's not necessary to take the bumper off to mount the HID ballast for the FOG lights

^ not necessary, but definitely a hell of a lot easier to work with.

i put swapped my headlights out for some 6000k in about 5 minutes. And swapped my fogs to 6000k true HID's in about 30 minutes. You will need a ballast for the fogs. Its pretty simply and straight forward install. All plug and play as long as you get the correct stuff.
