When I purchased my 2009 FX50 a couple weeks ago I was saddened to know I could not stream my music via bluetooth...after searching this wonderful forum I confirmed that this was true. They didn't allow music streaming until 2010. I did notice that this year did have a 3 terminal AUX connection but to be honest I hate cords! So with searching amazon I pieces together these things that work VERY well and thought this could help people now and in the future running into the same problem I did... Have a great weekend you all!!41N3UJqWc+L._AC_SY400_.jpg 41ZOLFy35lL._AC_SY400_.jpg 20201017_111342.jpg

I have a 2009 FX50 with the same AUX connections and found your post very helpful for a quick solution to getting Bluetooth capabilities. I was fortunate to have all of the needed items at home and it worked quick and easily. Thank you for the suggested approach BlackBadge!

What’s going on man. I just bought a 09 fx35 and I’d like to know the items you bought to make the Bluetooth work. Thanks again and great FX! Gonna be getting a similar tire setup.

Hey MAD106, so the set up I got the first time was a hassle and cannot as you had to lift the center console open everytime to turn the BT on. Then you had to manually turn it off or you would still be connected to it as you walked into the house.

I did some more looking and found a better BT setup on Amazon and I absolutely love this set up. You still you the same 3.5 mm aux in to red/yellow aux out adapter as above but use this BT transmitter I have listed below.
