Driving 09 FX this morning and both side view mirrors started moving in/out on their own. Not the whole assembly just the mirror part. The movement was kind of a half inch oscillation back and forth. I powered the passenger mirror out then back to where it started, twice, and it stopped moving. The drivers side continued to move until I got to work and shut the car off. Did not act up on the drive home this afternoon. WTH? Anybody?? :eek.:
 
Okay, I'm an idiot.......realized that my mirror issue relates to the mirrors being loose. Can anyone elaborate on how to tighten them? The post I've seen refer to the dealer doing under warranty. No warranty for me?
