Has anyone played with one of the new Jaguars?

I've seen a couple of the new Jag SUVs on the road. Sound pretty sweet.
I was wondering if anyone here had taunted one into a little...test of speed?:D

My buddy has the super charged v6 variant, I keep meaning to do this, but his schedule is always busy. If we end up sprinting, I'll post back here.

His is black on black wheels, coffee interior, panoramic sunroof. It's very very good looking. Too bad the new Mitsubishi suv looks very similar to it. Still prefer the fx.

A couple of months ago, i was looking for a replacement for our 2013 FX37. We drove the QX70S, the Audi Q5 & the Jag F Pace. The Audi had terrible steering - light & without much response. Despite the reputation, I thought the Q5 to be a big step below the other 2 in terms of quality, despite the lovely big sunroof & clever storage places...are you listening, Infiniti?
The Jag was, indeed, lovely. Comfortable with a very large & modern infotainment display. Still listening, Infiniti? The sat nav took over the instruments when warning of turns, so the lanes, etc. therefore could be read without diverting your eyes, much.
But overall, I thought it less responsive & a trifle lumbering compared to the QX70S we eventually bought. Had the prices been the same it would have been a much harder decision, but with the Jag being the new guy on the block, we could only obtain a $750 discount from the sticker price of around C$70,000. Our Victoria BC dealer was selling the QX70S for around C $62,000, but bowled us over with a 20% discount! We jumped at that! Drove home that night in a new car, which despite being very "traditional" in outlook compared to the F Pace, has slightly better handling than that car; a much better ride - even with 21" wheels compared to our previous 18 inchers - than the 3013 FX37 - & we have learned to live with the dearth of little storage spots. We even seem to get slightly better fuel "economy". As well, it overall looks better we think too.
