Had to fix my seat this week.

Hey so I noticed my Driver's seat was moving all over (like a rocking chair) so I pulled it out expecting to find something broken. Turns out one of the cross bars that ties to the front lift/lowering part of the seat broke. The weld for the bar came cleanly off of the bracket it was welded to. It had zero weld penetration.

I had my seat laying on a board on a set of saw horses and had to get it together. I used my limited approach angle and flux core 120v mig welder to stick it together. It's not pretty but I know it's stronger than the factory weld was. Fingers crossed this is the last time I have to fix this.

All said and done it took me about 1 hour to remove the seat, weld it, and re-install the seat.
