GT Spec STB: Creaking?

Hello all. When I roll over a speed bump or go through a dip while turning, or turn into a driveway, there is a haunted house old wood floor creaking sound coming from under the hood. Is this because I installed the STB? It started happening after I installed the STB. Is this normal, and if so, is there a way to make it go away? :bomb:

I doubt is the STB. I'm suspecting a lose bolt behind the front driver wheel well. Take a look at this post on the Org.

Okay, so here I am again. No loose bolts. And when I push down on the hood just above my left headlight, that's when the creaking is the loudest (except for when I'm driving and turn while going over a bump). I'm wondering if the STB is actually touching the hood. I thought I got one of the good ones, but maybe not. Really don't want to take out the STB to see if the creaking persists, but that seems like my only option at this point.

Just went outside to remove the STB and there are grooves dug into the padding on the underside of the hood. So it is touching after all. So frustrating.
