Hi, I actually live a bit west of Denver, not far from Red Rocks.
I have an Infiniti QX70 (2017). I like music and have long been disappointed with the audio in the QX70, particularly since my old Murano had a great sound system (but a crappy CV transmission).
So my initial interest is upgrading the speakers, but will no doubt have other questions over time. I've been reading the existing posts and have some questions.
I owned an Infiniti 2009 FX35 for a while, my daughter has it now. I also have a Ford truck and Kubota tractor. I'm not too handy, but I am willing to try.

The good news is you have a great speaker cabinet. About all that's left of my '03 FX45 Bose system is the wiring and mountings. The subwoofer enclosure even w/ Bose drivers is exceptional. I have mine now wired in series for a roughly 3 ohm combined resistance which works extremely well with my JBL 7701 mono-block amp. I use an Infinity 4 channel 5500 connected to Diamond D3 separates w/crossovers in all 4 doors. Regardless of your speaker/amp choices, know that it can be done by you, or for you with adequate research. I do however recommend the jbl/infinity line of amplifiers for their low noise and clean output for a mid-line, mid-price solution. I can drown out all the road noise, and my Kenwood head unit provides complete control through high quality audio sound stage, time alignment, and frequency shaping. I affectionately refer to my FX as my AWD headphones. Just figure out the wiring harness and where to put your head unit and amps. While I'm waiting for my FX50 to be delivered I'll be doing the same. There are a lot more options now than a few years ago when I put my current FX45 system together. Follow your own ears, and good luck!
