Ok so now that I've taken my 24's off and put the stock 21's back on for winter I'm driving 3X harder and I'm really getting upset by the lag in acceleration and harsh downshifts that most of us have experienced with our FX's, I guess its really extra noticeable now that I'm driving harder. I've been babying the accelerator with the 24's on since I have to watch for potholes which run rampant in NY. Now that I'm jumping on the accelerator more often this lag in acceleration is really killing me, it takes a lot away from the driving experience, at least for me it does. I'm ready to get serious about some performance upgrades since Infiniti obviously isn't in a hurry to resolve the problem for FX50 owners. Does anyone know of any shops in NY near the 5 boroughs that do this kind of work and ARE GOOD AT IT? I'm looking for a place that does all sorts of performance upgrades and can even possibly make suggestions to improve performance. Thanks.
