Give some advice for high mile fx35.

Hi all~
I need your advice guys.
My fx35 is 06 & 89k miles on it and also i have a extend warranty for 100k.
Should i buy another extend warranty before get 100k?? Or trade it to other car?
I dont wanna spend big money for repair.
Please give some advice who has a high mile fx35.

I can actually say that the fx was pretty solid just stay on top maintenance and you should be fine there have been guys with well over 100k and little problems noted. besides a little oil burning. just do a search and read up on the articles.
 
Regular maintenance and regular wear and tear replacements and you'll go way past 100k.

The fx is a Nissan product. Not land rover. With maintenance it'll go way past 100k. And dont waste your $$ on warranties. The things that break are never covered anyway.
 
I agree with squishy take the 2500 you would pay for a warranty up it in savings account use it for repairs only throw a couple 100 in here And there watch it grow and when your ready for new car not only do you have your trade in but whatever cash you have here for down payment

Im in the high mileage club. I have over ~150k on my 05. She still purrs like brand new. No major issues besides the bubbling dash, an electrical short (which was my fault) and the stupid windshield washer pump going bad. Only had to replace my rear hubs (both) once. Now im due for new struts ($270 w/DIY) and a new Cat (after market $369). Besides regular maintenance, this baby was good to me. No major repairs.
 
i put 20k miles on my fx in about a year.. now at 116k.. oil changes, gas, car washes. thats it.

i am spending the money i would've wasted on a warranty on new brakes, suspension, exhaust, etc.. it treats me well so I'm going to treat it like my old m3 and feed it new parts and fluid changes this holiday even though it doesn't need it.. the m3 always needed it.

fx is pretty nice and very reliable. everything i expected it to be. its not rare, crazy fun to drive or mod, but it does everything i expect everyday without fail... looking good.
