Gen1 TPMS sensors on Gen2

I just put a set of first gen 20" wheels on my car with the original tpms sensors. Do these work with the 2nd Gen vehicles? I'm not getting a light in the dash, but my info screen isn't registering any pressures. I can go to the tire shop and get them swapped if needed (still have old wheels laying around), but can seem to find any info on this yet.
 
I don't think they'll work as I believe the part numbers are different. It will take a little while for the dash light to come on, but I bet it will if you drive a little more.
 
Yeah I also believe both are different numbers for the 1st and 2nd gen FX
