OK OK... First of all...Thank You to the experienced members here who have done this conversion and provided such great info. I am more just wanting to confirm the compatibility before I drop $1000 on calipers, rotors etc.
I have a 2003 fx45 and want the FX50 Akebono front brakes.

From what I have read, as long as the front calipers came off an FX50, they will bolt right on to an FX45? With the addition of the special banjo bolt, new lines and rotors... you ahve a bolt on "big" break kit for the FX 45?

The best deal I have found is Ebay for $250ish per caliper. But the dealership cant really confirm they came off an FX50. They say they are "compatible" but then I also see people listing G35 and G37 breaks as compatible with the FX50 and thus the FX45? Will brakes off of any of the G models bolt right on?
Anyone have a line of a set of front calipers I can buy... other than Ebay? I have tried the "Junk Yard" directory sites and gotten a lot of run arounds, or prices the same or higher than ebay.

Thanks in advance.

G37 brakes are compatible if they came off the sport model I believe, same with the 370Z. As long as it's the 4 piston Akebono calipers, it will fit. I purchased mine piecemeal, one came off of an FX50 and the other a G37. G35 brakes will not work and neither will the 4 piston Brembo's from the 350Z.

You technically don't need SS brake lines, but they're cheap so you might as well get them if you're upgrading everything else. And if you get Stoptech lines, you can specify the shorter banjo bolt. I bought the lines and the bolts separately not knowing that. So I ended up with an extra set of bolts. It's a straight bolt on.
