2011 FX50
Need to install DRL lights/module in my FX50S. Found some really good threads and write-up on how to control Fogs independently of the headlights, but I cannot find any true DRL install for the FX. It doesn't matter to me whether I use fogs or Parking lights as DRL.

If using fogs as DRL, they need to be on/dim when headlights are off and then able to control manually when headlights on AUTO/ON

Here is a link for an Asian company that looks too good to be true. Has anyone tried this?

This might work. Just as long as it fits in the bulb socket. You do need to run a wire to ACC, to let the light bulb to turn on when there's accessories power.
I don't know of any other way of adding DRL to an existing light bulb. There was a suggestion of replacing the BMC with a Canadian model BMC. However, I never heard the outcome of that project.
