I believe he used the S6 leds that are sold on ebay..

Was thinking of this mod for my gf's touareg but they're expensive at $300..

I wish they had a slight hint of blue like most "SUPER WHITE LED" lights you normally find...

I actually wish all other LEDs were that color, but since I can't find anything like that, I'd be interested in those in a slight blue hue
