Fx45 Code P0456

Folks , i was driving 10 m ago and the service light poped up , I have a small scanner to read the stores codes and is says P0456 , fuel cap leak or canister ... I've remove the cap and reattach it again . And now I've erase the codes. Anyone had this issue before ????? Soon I'll drive back home to see if the light shows up again

I'm assuming you didn't screw it on all the way and that's why it threw a code. If it doesn't come back on your fine

I bet the rubber seal on the gas cap is cracked causing a small leak. I'd replace the gas cap and call it a day
