does the fx37 injen short pipe with heat shield fit a 2009 fx35? I only ask because it looks identical only difference is a 3.7 and a 3.5 but looking at both under the hood it looks like it will fit like a glove. Anyone here done it? Or have a suggestion?

They should work but I wouldn't get short ram intakes. Even with the shields you're sucking in hot air. The factory intake takes in fresh cool air from the grille area - no reason to switch them. It's just for looks and will actually alter your low end tq curve. Most have understood that on non-turbo and untuned cars intakes do nothing to justify the price. Yes, with a bunch of bolt ons and a tune you can get some power but barely enough to actually feel.

Spend the money elsewhere :)

No problem man. the G/Z guys can get around 20HP tuned out of a bunch of a bolt ons but not really worth it to spend thousands to get 20hp you can barely feel especially in the FX.
If oyu want more power, save up and go turbo / sc. otherwise, throw an exhaust on and enjoy it as is ;)
