I can only answer #1. Get a TVandNAV2GO or a similar box. It will allow you to input 2 video signals to your dash and rear monitor. I've got one and it works fine. You will still have to get something to add sound like a PAC/USA Spec box that allows you to connect an iPhone or aux input. I run that as well. Honestly though, how much will you watch movies in your car? I installed all this because I have a child, but now never use it period. It's easier to just stream to a phone or tablet w/ better quality picture. The factory screen isn't great.

search for navtv. Many people have done this to watch videos on the oem navigation screen. Like Shadow said the quality isn't that great but it's decent. Most of the times I would play something on there for my passengers but I rarely watch anything when I'm driving alone.

As far as I know the iPhone 5 only outputs digital video so you will need to find something that will accept digital in. Most of the aux input solutions only accept analog signals.
