Fx35 trans to Manual

IIRC it has only been done a couple times using a g35xS trans. It would be like any other auto to manual swap that doesn't have a kit - a ton of work and labor hours... look up the user "Rookie" on here.

No. It's been done a few times using a standard CD00X trans out of any non-AWD 350z or G35. There is currently no FX's out there having swapped in a manual trans on an AWD vehicle. It's not impossible but would require welding bell housings and machining out custom spacers. The vehicles that have manual swaps are all RWD.

If you are really interested in doing this, my recommendation is to source a re-manned or new CD009 transmission. RJM clutch pedal, and find a 350z or G35 that is beign parted out to steal things like the e-brake pedal, master clutch cylinder, etc.

sorry for any mis-information. I a, pretty sure I saw two from russia that were AWD 6spd swaps using the g35xS trans (or so they said) on youtube but perhaps they were RWD as well.

Who knows what they have done over there in Russia, even if they have done it the information probably doesnt exist online about it. So you'd be back to square one with it. Its possible, I know it's possible. Anything is possible, but how many hurdles or stumbling blocks and issues are you willing to overcome to do it.

I can only imagine the electronic nannies trying to communicate to all wheel drive from a six speed, but I'd love to see it on a rear wheel drive.
