Fuel Stabilizers Safe?

I will be out of town for about 3 months and my 2010 FX35 will be kept in a garaged storage facility. Having a family member or neighbor drive the car once in a while is out of the question. Is it recommended that I use fuel stabilizers (such as STA-BIL and are they safe to use on the FX35)? I live in Texas so it will be warm. Also, do you recommend full tank of gas or should I empty it? It seems people have conflicting views...

Thanks in advance...

What are you worried from? I do not see an issue in parking the car 3 months with full or empty tank. The only issue you might encounter is a dead battery, to prevent that the engine needs to be run for 20-30 minutes every two weeks or so.

As stated, the battery should be your main concern.
I use Stabil regularly in other vehicles and consider it completely safe. From my regular experiences, I have used to to store 6 months to 1 year and even up to 2 years with no problem at all. (Fuel related) The general rule is for the tank to be not on the empty side. Some people might even say full. I shoot for 75% or at least 60%. I believe the main reason was to a avoid corrosion in steel tanks. I've also heard something about minimizing gas/air pressure in the fuel lines. Regardless, fuel amount in your stored FX should not be a big concern.
