front struts replace

I have an 03 FX35 with 160 000 km, front lower control arm left and right need to be replace soon . Should i replace the front struts too?? how long do our stock struts lasted, I might sell my car next year because of the oil consumption problem.

well its time for you to change it but you got another 20,000km for the life of the struts. Also why are you replacing your control arms so early?

Assuming that your struts have been replaced at 60k miles, then yes you have another 20k kilometers left(as Dracula said), if not there are past due long time ago

I have a 2003 FX with about 72k and the only thing I had to do to it so far as suspension is change out an outer tie rod end, everything else feels super tight.

There will be a huge difference, when you change out both struts and shocks.

thanks , control arm ball joint has lot of play both side . Ball joint are bad , can't just buy ball joint
