Front signal lights

Quick questions, Has anyone replaced the amber front signal lights with LED's? and if so did u have to completely dismantel the head light. thanx.
 
To replace the the turn signal bulb with LED's you will also have to install a resistor to avoid the hyperflashing.
 
The front turn signals are 7440 bulbs. I haven't purchased mine yet I wanted to see if anyone knew or has changed theirs & if they got the hyper flash. Do we need those resistors? I would like to buy everything I'll need in one shot.
