Front lower lip (OEM Aero kit) keeps getting loose

So the front piece of the OEM aero kit, the front lower lip is just installed with double sided trim tape of both sides of the bumper along with some other screws and clips.

Mine keeps getting undone on both sides, I've tried to fix it with new 3M trim tape but it doesn't work. Any ideas?
 
Yes, used label and glue remover to clean all old tape residue then simple green degreaser to make sure the surface was properly cleaned.

The 3m trim tape held for a couple days only. Its eternal summer in PR, 85F and over 85% humidity. It's been raining as well.
 
Who installed it?

I remember when I was installing it, I thought to myself "There is so many screws in this, this is never getting loose."

Get a hold on the installation sheet. See if all the screws are in.
 
I installed it myself and the screws and clips are solid it's just the double sided tape lost its adhesion and the 3m i bought didn't last but a couple of days

superglue and never remove it again lol jk

on my other car, I used a thin bead of the same stuff you would use to seal up the headlights, black butyl crap. I also had to drill into my bumper to install the lipkit so I knew it was never coming off. But I don't know how that stuff would react with paint since you do need to apply some heat to it
 
Wipe it with 3M adhesive promoter before you stick on the tape
