Front licence plate

I have the front factory licence plate holder and hardware. There are no pre drilled holes that I can see to mount the bracket. Any advise on how to mount it?

DON'T!!!

Unless you need to by law... It goes in with self drilling screws... 2 near the top corners... Looks WAY better without though...

My 04 still has no holes or front plate on it. Got a warning once but never a ticket. I'd leave it off till you get a fix it ticket.

Look closely, the think there are very small dimples where the holes need to be drilled.

You're lucky! I think in Ontario, I don't need front plates, but my FX came with it already installed

It's the law, in Ontario you must have front plates.

Weird... I see a lot of people in the Ottawa area with no front plates...

Get the plate mount that screws into the front tow hook location. I did that when I got a fix-it ticket.
....still no holes drilled. And I won't!

Are they from Quebec? Because the law in that province allows for no front plate (you can have the rear plate only)

Nope... I've seen both Ontario and Quebec plates with no fronts here... But probably cause we're so close to Quebec, they're a little relaxed with that law... Weird thing is that almost EVERYONE has illegal tints here (especially the cops LOL) and tints are pretty much completely illegal in Quebec so that doesn't really make sense...

I had no idea tints are illegal in Quebec, just like making a right hand turn at red light! lol But you're probably right about the laws being relaxed because of bordering an EU member country. Tints are subject to how the cop feels about it at that moment, there is no set limit except the Ontario law states the driver of the vehicle must be identifiable (male/female/etc) to the cop as in the 5-0 should be able to distinguish that.. which also leaves room for debate as to when was the last time the said officer went for an eye exam and a sanity check.

I think it's hypocritical as they have 20% tints and we're allowed a max of 35% I'm pretty sure in the front... But they also have a bit of that "subjective" law where they can give you a ticket anyways and you have to fight it...
