Front CV replacement???

Has no one in the intranet posted anything on a FX35 front CV replacement?
My front CV boot has a pin-hole in it - and the shoe-goo didn't hold (LOL).
So I went to find a CV replacement boot kit - but can't find one for the passenger side front (right, front). For some reason I see the rear CV boot kits, and front left CV boot kits - but not right. I'm wondering if the right side can even be torn down?
Is my only option to replace the entire CV? If so - DAMN!! The Right side CV is $650.00......compared to the left which is only $430.00.
That is outrageous!!

Any help - is GREATLY appreciated.

Also - I found a 2005 CV replacement used - but the listing doesn't show it will fit a 2003. I thought 2003-2008 driveterrain was all the same?
Can anyone explain why a 2005 front CV might not be the same as a 2003?
Thanks!

Infinitipartsusa has what you need. They show "inner boot left", "inner boot right", and "outer boot" assemblies that includes the CV joint boot, clips, and some other little thing I can't identify from the illustration. The applications are as follows:

Part__________________Years_____Price

FRONT
Inner boot, fx, right ---- 03-04 ---- $37.41
Inner boot, fx, left ----- 03-07 ---- $30.06
Outer boot, fx, --------- 03-07 ---- $24.98

EDIT: I wasn't aware of the CV boot change between 04 and 05, but my service manual also shows different part numbers for 04 and 05... Weird.

SWEET!!!!! Thank you!! I spent 2 hours last night searching for parts - and even looked there. My intranet searching skills are not the greatest.
Now I just have to make sure the right side front CV can be torn down (I would imagine so if the boots are sold separately) . I read somewhere that the older Infiniti g20's right side CV's couldn't be disassembled.

Well, I just placed the order. $49 shipped.
I don't know how this job is going to go.
The Infiniti Parts guy wished me luck and said it's one hell of a job.
LOL....
Grrrrreat.

also might be worth noting that many mechanics have access to what is considered univeral aftermarket cv boots... the benefit of these is that they are made out of an extremely stretchy rubber & they use a cone to install & it stretches right over the cv joint without disassembly at all... maybe not the best alternative, but a possible alternative I suppose if you can't get that axle apart without ruining it...
