First Mod: Replacing Resonatore with straing pipe intake

I am wanting to replace the resonators that are on the current stock intake.
I see there are a few choices. I was leaning toward Stillin Z-tube.
I had some questions

1) How loud will it get, sticking with K&N dropin filter ? (I actually perfer if it doesn't get to louder, just looking to replace the single pipe from throttle body to MAF)

2) What are other options for just changing out this pipe? (I searched and found LMS, but then LMS site doesn't show any thing for FX, so looking for current information what direct replacement pipes are available and recommended, looking to spend the least also. From what I found Stillen Ztube going for $55-60)

3) what is best place to buy the tube replacement ?

4) Any feedback from people who done just this mod?
 
It won't change much.
UTR is anoter tube option, but they are rare like the LMS.
Best place to buy it would be used on my350z.com or g35driver.com or just shop around for the cheapest new prices from vendors or on eBay.
 
I went with Stillen ztube because of price. I didn't want to spend a lot of $ on a piece of plastic.
Will install in coming weeks :wink:
 
I bought a $64 kit on eBay that came with connectors, tube, sensor fittings, and a K&N filter. It's probably the best deal you can get.
 
replaced the OEM pipe out for Stillin and reset the ECU by pulling the neg terminal from battery all night. Took the car for short drive and noticed it was only very slightly louder (which I wanted) and the accl is more responsive then before. Sounds good from outside and windows down. My idle RPM is still just slightly above 500 after doing throttle body cleaning last week, from what I understand its supposed to be around 650 but guessing mine is close enough. Took me about 30 mins to install pipe. Hope this helps other
