First Essential Mods

Well, the mod bug has always been bitting me hard. Looks like it's not going to leave the FX alone either :embarrassed:

Therefore, I'd like to compile a list of the "first essential mods" for the '11 FX35 that'll be coming in tomorrow.

Please list what you think is a "must-have" to the FX35 2nd Gen.

Here's what I can think of:

Budget Mod:

Navi Hack
Camera Hack
Alarm Impact Sensor
Clear Floor mat set
Tint (going to wait until it's warmer)
Stainless Steel Knobs
Driver Side Key hold delete - Is it just something like u get the one made for the passenger side and install it on the driver side?
HID Fog
LED Conversion (Vanity, interior, rear signal, reverse, front side marker, etc.)
De-badging

$$ Mod:

Remote Starter
Laser Diffuser/Shifter/Jammer
Coilovers
Wheels
Sub & amp to the BOSE system
Front OEM Lip kit

Thanks,
Kevin

sounds like a good start.

Some other essential and not wallet breakers are interior/exterior LEDs if your into that type of thing, weathertech floor mats (a must for those who get their shoes dirty often)

post pics and congrats on the new arrival !

Sounds good bro!

But there is one thing you won't be able to do and that's the driverside keyhole delete. On the 2009-2011 FX's, you can't put the keyhole cover from the passenger side onto the driverside. The reason why is because on our 2nd gen's, the whole keylock is attached to the cover making it impossible to do. I've already tried it and so have a few others.

Wow, thanks a lot for the advice. That kinda blows how they make it like that.

Also worth noting - The front lip is a great visual but if your ride has tech it doesn't play so well with the system......

Thanks guys.

I guess I'll be leaving the engine mods alone for now as we're now having both modded cars, that's why, I'd like to make the FX35 a lil bit more comfortable.

Also, can you please suggest where can I get some OEM parts for a good price? (such as impact sensors, floor mats, cargo nets, etc.?)

Thanks.
