finally, I'm done with LMS S/C

replacement 440c injectors, and re-tune.

I feel like more slow down. but the paper number is going up than first tune paper.
I can not understand about HP. same boost but 10hp increse this time.
also, my AFR gauge going down until 10.3 at 4000 rpm and stay long time and goes up when I release gas padal or change the gear.
but the paper is different.
which one is more correct? my afr gauge or paper.
I wondering, If I go to some where like technosqure for dyno , can I know my car has good tune or no good??
please any advice...thank you

I would trust the dyno wideband over your wideband in general, & HP is detemined by more than just boost, if it was rich before & now leaner it is normal for it to make more power at the same boost level...

hard to say much more, looks like your making decent power with the LMS, curves look like they might be able to be a little better, but hard to compare to curves from a turbo setup really as the SC will be more linear... what did you do with the 600cc injectors?

fawk, first of all I'm sorry that I didn't check my PM box until now! From what I see, you are making decent amount of power with the LMS S/C! I suggest you take it to Takashi @ Techno Square, have him re-dyno, re-tune. Honestly, you will not gain crazy amount of power with LMS kit, how much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? Anyways good luck with this kit!!

$2400 shipped w/ brand new UTEC and the original fuel/engine management... offered a set of brand new 440cc Deatschwerks and Walbro fuel pump with it but he ended up getting those on his own later on unfortunately :embarrassed:

He recently got Technosquare to dyno it... hopefully he'll post up the dyno sheets here soon.

Yea, that's too bad Frank as it would have saved him a lot headache and time.

I got Techno Square for dyno check.

here's dyno sheets. It's totally different between church autotesting and Techno Square.
first is just dyno check. second paper is some option changed.(I asked why the number came totally different between TS and church?? then He gave a second paper.)

first paper. - around 280HP

second - 321 HP

also, I got a error code - P1284 : Air fuel tatio sensor 1 rich shift monitoring.

so, Should I replace that?

Superflow numbers always run lower. Did Tadashi give you a Dynojet equivalent number or sheet?
Look at the second dyno, it looks like he changed the correction factor to give the Dynojet equivalent... DJWhPw and DJWhTq? If those are accurate those are good numbers...

Two things though, boost is supposedly hitting 7.2 lbs??? Wow...

Other, AFR is hangin out around 10.0? Super rich... maybe the reason for the code? I don't know anything about that code or what causes it.

super rich is safe?? I have no idea....
tadashi said "it's pretty safe and good tune if you wanna keep longer the car" .
and I don't know about the boost.....
so, if someone ask about my Hp...how can I answer about that? 340 HP ? 320 Hp ? 280 ? lol...

Rich is relatively safe. A car tuned from the factory is likely to have a similar tune.

If somebody asks you can say 320 whp on a Dynojet. It's important to know that dynos are tuning tools and there's SOOO many differences from one dyno to the next. Don't be so concerned with what you can tell them as far as a number goes, but yeah you can say 320whp Dynojet and show that corrected graph Tadashi or whoever gave you.

Pffft.... Here's Church at it again, this time on an Evo X:

Got the car tuned for E85 by Shaun Church at "Church Automotive Testing" yesterday; 370hp/390lbft, 40hp gain over the 91 octane tune, I am quite pleased with how the car feels on the street. The 1000cc injectors are maxed at 100% duty cycle at WOT, this kind of rules out a larger turbo (FP Red?)without changing the injectors again.

100% duty? That's awfully high. I'm at 80% on E85 with DW1000's.

The issue sounds very familiar lol... basically this guy is maxing out injectors that shouldn't be maxed, I'm surprised they didn't throw 2000cc injectors in there to solve his problems.

PS: There IS a difference between the two cars these guys have, one is manual transmission GSR, and the guy who's at 100% IDC has an "automatic" transmission MR (SST transmission). He suspects the TCU is telling the ECU that it doesn't like those kinds of torque numbers.

Never-the-less, here's a funny little tidbit:

While on the Dyno yesterday the tuner remarked that the injector duty cycle was really high at 97%, they checked the pump relay (black) and spent some time checking some "other stuff" but could not find the cause so he accepted the 97% and finished tuning it. On the way home I turned on the AP's built in ecu monitor and it read 100% at WOT! I will do some logging tonight if I can figure out how and maybe take a look at the learned fuel trims.
