Factory paint mismatch?

I was washing the QX70 today when I saw something odd - my rear hatch is a different shade than the surrounding body panels?!? Open the attached photo and view full size.

Anybody else seeing similar things on their car?

That is very strange. Mine is Malbec black and it doesn’t have this issue.

Are you the original owner and or was the hatch ever replaced?

There are 2 different color codes KAD and k51 in our color we have and they look very similar from far but up close there's a slight difference.
