Engine swap anyone?

I was wondering could the 09 FX motor fit in an 08. Because i'd love to see 330hp+supercharger in full effect.

Well, you said 09 FX35 motor and that my friend over there is an 09 FX35 motor (VQ35HR)

330 hp one is the G37 motor (VQ37VHR), not the FX35 one. (to add: and that's not supercharged)

nope the 35 still got 302hp. if they make it the FX37 then see the 330 come into play

303hp is 09, and 08 rated at 275hp, now its just 28 more horses. But it would be stock+supercharger= the force is strong with this one. lol

fit ? maybe... even if it did think about the transmission. Maybe need to change that also, then maybe the drive shaft needs to be modified....

likelyhood... slim. since you will have to change the ECU and maybe the TCU.

I was going to say the same thing Alan.. Isn't it John working on a swaping his engine for the HR one.. I think its a 2007 G35X engine.. can't wait to see the outcome of that..

we should make it a rule to only use WHP. I know that the Stock VQ35 puts out about 220 horses. Anyone knows what the 09 puts out?
