「Up or down of the steering does not operate.」
When a key was off, a steering does not change on the top.
The allophone of　the motor sounds.

As for these symptoms, many friends of 2009 FX owners are the same, too.
The vehicle of the friend does not work in the state that a steering fell to most.
The vehicle is very dangerous.

There was a problem in a part, and I already heard that 2010 model was a new part.
Is not there any information?
 
I'm not really understanding the english translation of your post. Are you saying the electric convenience exit function of the steering wheel does not work or there is a malfunction of the steering wheel when you manually try and adjust it up and down button?

Dear Dr2K,

The up or down adjustment of the steering is not possible.
A motor seems to race.

So it does not work automatically when you exit the FX or manually? If it does not work either way than it may be a bad motor or connection. You don't have a infiniti dealer in Japan to take this to but if you know about the replacement part for 2010 than maybe you can get it from the states and get someone to fix it or try and do it yourself?

The height adjustment of the steering is not possible.
There is not infiniti Dealer in Japan, but there is the nissan dealer.
My FX has a mechanic of the nissan dealer look.


As for the owner 2009FX of my friend, a lot of these objections occur.
Do not these objections happen in U.S.A.?
 
I have not yet seen or read any reported problems with the steering wheel's tilt control function on the forum.
 
The only information is from the US infiniti site. But since you are in Japan I don't know how much that will help you.

when i got my 09 there was a recal on the ateering wheel column they replaced the motor and everything so you might want to contact your dealer for information...

I do not know anyone at infiniti consumer affairs, so you will have to talk to them directly or perhaps get help from a friend who speaks better english? Good luck.

Please report this malfunction to at infiniti consumer affairs.

A lot of same troubles are reported in 2009 infiniti FX model of my friend.
Everybody is troubled.
