Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)

Operation Procedures

1. Perform Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning.
2. Perform Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning.
3. DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES FOR PROPER OPERATING TEMPS
4. Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 10 seconds.

I have tried all these resets over and over and cannot get the CEL(Service Engine Soon On my 08) light to flash at all?

I think I remember reading someone else saying to release pedal and/or start the car In 2 seconds instead of 3 seconds. Are u using the Cd player as the timer? Sometimes it can be the stupidest little thing. Good luck

I cleaned the MAF sensor and still no luck with pedal dance until I cleared the "Service Engine Soon" light with a OB2 reader.
Then all the pedal dances worked. :good:

How did you clean your MAF sensor?

Its very easy to do and I read that it is recommended to do at every air filter change and one of the simplest things to do to increase MPG's.
Just unplug the sensor housing remove the two 10mm bolts holding the sensor housing in and spray sensors inside of housing with CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner. Do not use throttle body cleaner or any other cleaners the CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor spray cleaner is safe for plastic and evapraotes completely residue free. Also DO NOT TOUCH SENSOR WIRES INSIDE OF SENSOR HOUSING!
see attached pictures for our sensor location and see video for procedure....
