Ebc Red/Yellow or Akebono ProActs

Anyone have experience with both setups? My front brakes are due and i need a good pad with a good bite. I know everyone here likes akebono pro acts, how was the bite after a spirited drive? did you feel any brake fade? Also whats the exact model numbers for front Akebono and Rear Akebono. Iam leaning more towards ebc red or yellow, which is better for our platform?

I've been running yellowstuff for just over a year, with DBA 4000T3 rotors. The pads hardly have any dust at all, and zero noise. Its a great setup and there seems to be no fade after a bit of spirited driving even in winter; but the initial bite isn't as good as pads with more carbon in them - trade off being dust and fade as I've experienced with stock Akebonos, so I just bought the Hawk HPS 5.0 and getting them installed on Oct 1 - I'll report back then after a bedding them for a couple days.

Thanks for the response, bought used ebc yellow and not satisified especially on the 04 fx35 brake system. I am thinking of picking up akebonos now or posi quiets

I just installed the HAWK HPS 5.0 and it made a huge difference. Very good initial stopping power. I'll report back on fade and dust after a while, but my rims are plastidipped in black, so dust is not a problem for me and it doesnt show really.
