Early impression of my FX50S

Aside from my motorcycles I have owned, my two fastest cars owned were an 2005 E46 BMW M3 and a fairly modded 2004 G35 6MT. This FX50S is a damn impressive car and is sneaky fast! Aside from that it handles amazing for such a big heavy crossover and the sport suspension was definitely worth it and seats are way more supportive than the non sport model I test drove a few times. This thing is a SLEEPER ;)

Glad you like it :top:. I wish I had the adaptive suspension too! Sucks that they only offer it on the FX50s. And the thigh adjusters and leg extenders on the sport seats are really nice as well.

These are truly awesome rides though :smile (2):

The FX50 is an animal, I especially love some of the features on the S.
I have an FX50 and my grandfather just got an FX50S...same color ;)

secretly do a swap :ninja:

He wants to trade actually. His has 4k on mine has 22k. I don't think it's practical to trade and since I have stuff in mine it's easier to just keep mine, and 09 with 22k is nothing anyway.
He just got the aero kit put on (sides and back) but the dealer is being annoying about doing the front since his is loaded w/ tech etc. I keep telling them to just do it haha. His is literally the same color scheme, inside and out. ;)

Jordan, The front spoiler works with the full tech package even though Infiniti says it won't. Mine has worked flawlessly since I installed it.

Damn...your grandfather is cool!

My favorite thing about my 50's Sports Package is the Rear-Active Steering (RAS). (Followed closely by the seats).
I thought the effect of the RAS would be negligible since it is 'only' about one degree but you feel it for sure when driven hard and tight. Nice addition to the Sport Package compared to what I had with my 1st Gen.

Is this the same grandpa that gave you his 1st Gen FX? Why would he want to trade?

Yes, it's the same grandfather. He simply asked if I wanted to trade since his has all all of the electronic tech package "doodads" and the S package etc, most of which he won't even use. Plus, his has about 4k while mine has 22k..he drives 5 miles to work and around town, I drive hundreds of miles back and forth to school and will be doing to for four more years for law school.... etc.

let's not sway too off topic

Easy killer, I was just wondering if it was the "fx fan" grandpa and if there was something about the S that he didn't like. That is the topic here...

Yeah it's the same one. He just doesn't "use" most of the gizmos that come with the tech/Sport
