DuraFlex

Duraflex been in use for body kits for a while now, it's a less expensive alternative to polyurethane parts, with a combination of resins, plastic and fiberglass. Very lightweight and flexible.

Duraflex is pretty much fiberglass which is slightly more flexible. It's a brand made by Extreme Dimensions which is a huge producer of cheap body kits. Duraflex is cheaper than poly but more expensive than fiberglass. Only downside is that it's made by Extreme Dimensions and the fit will be hit or miss. There is minimal quality control there, so one person will get a great kit and another one will take a huge amount of work to fit.

Pretty much any cheap fiberglass body kit is going to be hit or miss on fitment. If they pull it from the mold too soon or the mold is old or any number of other little issues will cause an issue with fit. A company like Extreme Dimensions doesn't really check anything, they just make and ship. I've seen identical kits with way different fit; one is decent, one is atrocious. It's not just ED, it's any replica body kit maker. Cheap poly parts are a little better strangely and at least with those, you can massage it with heat and make it work. Fiberglass you have to cut up and rework, I've done it before and it sucks.

Fenders have so many areas they touch that I wouldn't recommend cheap ones. It may not line up with your bumper, or your side skirt, or even your door. I've seen kits where the door chipped the fender because the fit was so off. And if the hood line is off, it's such a long line that it looks really bad.

So it's basically a hit or miss on quality and fitment :(

The kit itself looks sensational though - does anyone know whether it's their own design? Or did they steal it from somewhere else?
