Duck Vader :: 2010 Infiniti FX50S

Hah, much better pictures James. Ride looks great with the new wheels man!

Edit - Forgot to mention that you nailed the offset perfectly, W/T's look flush.

So you replaced the stock 21" OEM wheels? I am about to get new tires and the selection is basically one, the OEM Bridgestone 21's. Did you replace the 21" OEM's because of the almost nil selection of tires for this size rim? Does anyone have any suggestions for 21" tires other than the Bridgestones?

Yes, that's part of the reason of the move to 20's. Tire selection is much broader for 20's, and even 22's. I might have gone to 22's if I didn't live in the Pacific NW.
However, the 21" Dunlop summers rode very smooth, and definitely have awesome dry grip. I would imagine you'd be better off with the Dunlops in GA.

Hey man the car looks great, awesome black on black

Can I ask two Q's
Do the 295s rub on full lock
What is the standard offset please...

Hey for the 21" q above, there are so few world wide so 22 or 20 is much more common

Which springs did you change to?

The 295's do not rub at all, not with the 42mm offset on the new wheels. I just had them rotated on Saturday, and all 4 tires were in great condition with very even wear.

I believe the offset on the stock 21's is 50mm.

Hi, first off nice ride! Second, I am buying my fx45 this weekend, and was thinking going 22's...I live in Seattle area, and was wondering why you said not to go with 22" in the Pacific NW? Sorry if it is a stupid question...

Probably because roads conditions are not the greatest. Bigger the wheels the more harshness in the ride, the more chances of damage to wheels over bumps, etc.

There are a lot of people running 22's on the 1st generation FX's, and even a few with 24's. You will not have any problems based on that rim size, just make sure you get appropriate offsets.

Got it, thanks. Where would the best place be to ensure the offset is "appropriate
" for may ride? Just match stock?

**Edit** Sorry Defjamz! I just realized I probably shouldn't ask these questions here. I'll go to a more appropriate thread. I am still new to the forum realm.
