DTRL upgrade dependability?

ok so i really want to upgrade my DTRL bulbs to white, just like my HID and Fog lights. however, the more i research on here, the more hesitant i am to buy LED's because it seems that alot of people are having issues with poor assembly, LED's burning out, etc. Has anyone found a dependable replacement for our DTRL bulbs? Doesnt PIAA or a well known company make any alternatives? thanks!

the issues are with the audi style led's and not the dtrl I had mines in since 07 no problems.

its an issue w/ all no-name brand LEDs, afaik PiAA doesn't make them YET, i've replaced all my interior bulbs w/ piaa LEDs, just waitin on them to produce DTRLs and sidemarkers w/ built in-resistors.

wish some of the other name brands like sylvannia would jump in and start making LED bulbs, right now its either pay through ur nose for piaa LEDs or get the cheap stuff that fails 50% of the time in a month, we need a mid quality/price LEDs.

I've recently changed my "dtrl's" or parking lights and license plate bulbs with leds from ledlight.com. I've read good and mostly bad things about bulbs from autolumination and superbrightleds so i tried ledlight.com. bulbs come with a 1 year warranty and it's brick and mortar business out of chandler AZ, with customer service, not like most sellers ebay. i've been running my bulbs for about a month now. no problems yet.

I threw some police strobes in the dtrl's. The real deal strobes LoL. I got bored one day and had them layin around and threw them in. Can you see a FX pulling someone over lol
