DTRL Came on/wont turn off

the other day my led Dtrl that havent been on in forever came on. They wont turn off even when i turn the key off. I had to unhook the battery over night
I finally just pulled the bulbs out.. anyone ever had this happen? I would like to have them in if I could get them back working properly

Are they powered through a separate relay? If so sounds like relay may be stuck on.

I have no idea how they are powered.

Acording to the manual there is a relay by your battery that is in the normally open position that is directly connected to the battery. So if this relay were stuck closed that would cause what you are describing. see attached pages from service manual....///8568[/ATTACH]///8569[/ATTACH]

Make sure the connectors aren't bent and check the polarity of the bulbs. I remember weird stuff happening with my led bulbs when I first got them. I think the bulbs only worked if both were in, and another set were transfering connection from one circuit to the other.

Bulbs and circuit is "dual filament" so there is a low and a high. the high beam is connected to the DRL circuit, and the low to parking lights. I think somehow the LED was taking power from the DRL circuit and feeding it to the parking light circuit.

The bulbs should work one by one if they're installed properly. I think some bulbs dont isolate the two circuits well, or the little wires might bend and touch the wrong connector.
