Door locks ???

The difference between my 08 G37 and my 09 FX35 is that when you pull on the handle of the G37 and the door is locked, it automatically unlocks the door. This is not so on my FX35. I must unlock the door manually or with the unlock button. Is there something I can do to change this? It is real annoying because I get out of the car when it is running all of the time.

it is a fail safe mechanism and it was a conscious change. The idea behind it is that you can check if your door is locked properly without re-opening it.
