door lock locked shut on 4 different actuators, tried everything except computer
i need some advice, these were the step by step of what happened to my actuators.
3 of my actuator wasnt working,
1.installed aftermarket $5 on front driver side, accidently wired up the wrong wires for the front driver side, might have shorted both rear non-working actuator.Got the fronts wires wired up correctly, front after market works fine.
2.installed aftermarket for the both rear door, doors locked shut for both rear doors, drives for 1 hr, does sudden unlocks, not all the way, but enough for me to open it from the inside
3.Next day uninstalled both of the rear aftermarket actuator, right passenger door locks shut.
Brought OEM actuator for right rear door, installs and it works fine. As dealer is installing right rear actuator, left rear starts acting up, and locking suddenly.
4.Brought new OEM rear right door actuator, doors locks shut, broke the inside of door handle to remove the actuator, exchange dealer for new actuator, same thing happens, it locks up again.
5.took it to a local shop, they spend 3-4 hours on it, couldnt fix it, didnt charge me anything, but broke my brand new lock cable without telling me about it.
im waiting for a called back from them tomorrow.
I have a appointment with dealership tomorrow, i will bill the local shop for a new actuator that they broke if they cant put back the cable, talked to some local shops, seems like the census is to bring it to infiniti where they have computers to look into their car.
Any advice appreciated.
