Door Actuator Replacement - For Under $5!!!!

After experiencing the exact same problem on my 2005 FX35 on all 4 doors i decided to come up with my own fix. I have instructions that are specific to each door and include all the hardware to wire in(no soldering) mount, and install in under an hour. Check out my website USActuators.com to get a kit and fix these crappy locks that infiniti installed.

hbinfiniti, does your kit require the same concept of cutting the foam or removing the foam completely?

Excellent write up // tackled this on my rear right door more than a year back and it's still running strong. My front and rear drivers side is acting up. Wondering if it's the car batt - will diagnose and most likely tackle the same fix on those doors as well.

I don't mean to gravedig, but does anyone know if this solution should still work if I have smart locks? I have an 04 FX35

This is EPIC! My actuators work but only when it's cold out. I am so going to do this. I wound if the door locks are battery parasite lol

You're not alone. I have to check all doors when it's warm out. They have mind of their own.
One day I'll get around to it. For me, just a Minor annoyance as it's garage kept & I only drive the car a couple times a week

Just wait till your window regulators start to go lol. My Side mirrors don't even move anymore. This has to be the worst car for electrical problems.

Been there too, & have repaired one with new motor. Just have one lazy window right now, so I'm careful with it & help it up if it's feeling sticky. Becomes a bigger yet still fixable problem if the clips break off the glass. Then epoxy is involved if you dont want to buy a new window & tint.
Electronics though have always been good. No issue with mirror controls.
All cars have their things

Yeah I've repaired my drivers side window and I have one lazy one in the back as well. I haven't had the clips break off yet. Looks like you've been down the same path as I.
Is that your FX in your avatar? If so, then you've taken better care of your car than I have :( I can sure learn from you!
Have you had any issues with your CD player and subwoofer going in and out? And sorry to everyone here for me totally going off subject of this thread lol

Clips can break if the motor is turning hard while the windows are stuck. Snap! Window falls halfway down door & hopefully doesnt crack.
CD play will go in & out below about 40.
hmm. cant remember the last time I used it

Still love her
