Does the shape of a Y Pipe matter?

Long time no see InfintiScene fam!
As some of you may know I'm on my 3rd consecutive FX37/QX70.
My previous one, I had test pipes + Invidia Gemini Exhaust.

This time around, I'm planning on make a custom exhaust.
I've looked around and there are a LOT of different shaped Y Pipes.

For example, the Z1 Y pipes look like this -

And the ISR Y Pipe looks like this -

While 90% of the other Y pipes all have the same curves throughout and the shape is completely different; it curves outwards with many bends on each side unlike the Z1 Y Pipe that does not have as many bends.

Then, this Y PIPE I am looking at - as you can see, the pipes are next to each other all the way down then it curves outwards with minimal bends in the pipes.s-l1600.jpg

I am also looking at the MANZO Y PIPE which looks very similar to the one above-

I was thinking that the shape of how the pipes are bent and how they are curved might affect how much airflow is pushed thru? I'm guessing that the more bends/curves there are (like the 3rd Y Pipe), the airflow might be slightly restricted because it has to go travel further and hit the bends.

Would you guys say that the 3rd Y PIPE or the MANZO Y PIPE is the best shape in terms of unrestricted airflow since there is not many bends like the first three ? If not, which one would you guys recommend?

Anyone have any experience with a Y PIPE that has the shape of the 3rd one or the MANZO one? THANKS FAM

I'm not sure what your cars drivetrain is but, Some of the pictured Y pipes will not clear the transfer case if your car is AWD. For example the Manzo Y would not clear a trasfer case

If you are RWD then it will be no issue

Yes I'm RWD.
Just tryna figure out which shape Y pipe would be the best; I'm guessing the air flow difference might be miniscule but just wanted to ask in case..
