Hey guys,

I recently installed megan test pipes and y pipe and now the rear section of my OEM exhaust is lower and hittin the rear under brace and annoying the crap out of me,

Does anyone make a mid section to replace the Y-pipe to OEM muffler section?

Did anyone run into this issue, how did you resolve it, did you have a hanger made? where did you mount it? (there is a place where the trans bump stop is located and I think would be a good place!)

What do you guys think!

I would go to a local muffler shop, they can give you the best advice. Maybe they can slightly bend the oem midpipe to get rid of that rattle. When I installed a used Stillen exhaust, I had the same issue. The midpipe was hitting the x brace, a local muffler shop cut out and fabbed up a new piece to clear the x brace.

Buy a polyurethane exhaust hanger. HKS mid pipe works as a OEM replacement. Kakumei y pipe also works as a OEM y pipe replacement.

Thanks for the reply guys, I did not realize HKS was making a mid-pipe for us, but good to know (wonder what model its a direct swap with?)

And as far as the hanger, had a shop make a clamp style hanger and its now a non-issue! :)
