DIY: License plate LED change

So are the plastic screws reusable? Do you first pop up the center piece to get the entire screw out?

Just a bump for this useful thread again. One of my Morimoto LEDs recently died. They were also always a little irregular in shade and brightness. So I replaced them with the Osram counterpart (T10/194, white color) and they are much cleaner. Better diffusion, pure and matched crisp white shade. For $25 and 15 minutes, this is definitely one of the best ways to clean up the exterior!
