DIY Isimple Aux Mp3 Ipod Connector / Isni 531

I hooked mine up the other day and I am only getting sound out of the left side of the car.. If i move it all the way to the right I can hear the music but it is VERY weak.. You run across anything like this?
Probably a defective auxiliary cable?

Im sure they gave u 2 cable
Try a different one
Recently my cable was severed so i had to use the extra one

The sound quality is actually excellent.

The wired for mine are hanging by the side of the clock .

They give you like a 3 feet wire and its too long so i only have about 6 inches of wire showing. And my main component is sitting by the gear box?/ shifter box?

Simple and a good device

Thanks for responding bro!

Do you think it's possible for me to somehow bring the wire (hidden) under the gear and somehow drill a hole in the center console and put it in there somehow? I wanted to keep it hidden in there and connect my mp3 player via that little space they designed in the center console for wires...

Does anybody know if that is super hard to do? If it is, I think I might go to Best Buy to do all that...they charge $50. Just scared they'll mess up something...

Sound cuts out after few seconds of play....

My car has NAV and factory SAT with antenna (however it is not subscribed).

I tried doing this install tonight and it was a failure.

Upon testing, the mp3 played fine for a few seconds while I put it in Auxillary 1. However, after about 15 seconds, the display of Auxillary 1 goes away from the screen and the sound goes away as well. When I click on the preset again...then it works again for 15 seconds or so.

What is going on? Is it because the SAT is not unplugged in the cargo area and gets some type of interference or "searching" for a signal and interrupts the play? I don't get what's going on...

Interesting thing is all the the dip switches are off. However when I put I think #3 on, then it repeatedly displays "Auxillary 1" on the screen and plays and then cuts out, then plays then cuts out then plays. AAAAHHHHH!!!

The only thing i can think of is your wires are not properly connect hmmmm

Cuz u have the aux button just pressing that will bring the sound but if it switches and if you have to press other button for some reason then i think you may not have snugged the wires for the radio.

Pls double check all the wire connections in the back of the radio

Gl!!!!

UPDATE:
For anybody having the same problem I did.

I had disconnected the white harness from the back of the satellite radio.

The satellite radio was located BEHIND the middle rear seat (remove the lower bench).

After I did that, it worked fine! Sound is fine, although I wish it was slightly louder (not bad though).

FYI: 2005 fx35. Stock satellite radio. NAVI. Sports package (might help with antenna location).
