Did i damage my FX!!

This reminds me of that other dude who's FX burned down after a similar incident... :eek:

I've done that in my mustang before. Hit an ice patch coming out of a turn and it the rims parallel to the curb going probably 10-25mph. And then when you get off the curb and you notice your steering wheel is wobbling severely at 5 mph and just gets worse and worse as you go faster....it's not a good feeling. Whole frame and a wheel was bent. No alignment ever made it straight again because so many parts of the frame were shifted...at least that is what I was told.
 
I had a run in with a curb once. To this day I still don't understand how I managed to hit it this way, but I equipped 4-wheel steering!

Yes, that's the rear wheel.

Now that I think of it...I've done it twice....once on a turn and another time just driving straight on a road going probably 35mph, all of a sudden the car's rear starts turning. Then went into the curb in about a 45 degree angle going backwards into it. Cracked the rear wheel and bent the front wheel. Ugh...I typically drive like a grannie when there is a possibility of ice....it sucks. Both of these times were in Chicago.
