Frustrated :mad.:, my car is out of warranty took my car in at the dealer and told them my control arm might be busted because i saw oil discharge on one of the bushings (note: they replaced my control arm under extended warranty 6 mths ago) they told me if this is not the case we're going to charge an inspection fee total of $145 i said fine, (they didnt find the control arm a problem, but told me my wheel bearings needed to replaced, plus i payed 145 for the inspection) so today i picked up my car back and 4 hours later i opened my hood to check on something and the dipstick was out of place and puddles of oil on the bottom plastic, oil spillage everywhere, service was obviously closed, so tomorrow morning i will call the service manager, will i get my money back and will they clean it up???

Heres some pix

if they serviced ur car and screw it up give em hell like theres no tomorrow they are responsible

Threaten them to take them to court and tell them that u will make it a mission to make sure everyone u know will never go there for service.

It's just sad when you pay premium prices for junk service. I wouldn't even ask them to clean the engine compartment. They'll likely see that as a happy solution, you still won't be satisfied, and then have to steam clean yourself.
Give'em hell and hopefully you'll get the bogus $145 back.
Changing wheel bearings thru the dipstick is like cracking your knuckles by getting a prostate exam.

Talked to the manager yesterday and he blamed for the problem; there was a multi point inspection added on the papers. He kept saying we didnt even open up the hood. I didnt buy his crap, they were so persistent, he finally said just bring it and will steam it and detail it.. like there doing this huge favor. I had them steam twice.
Obviously they checked the oil level and probably the fluids, to sell me something.. Man the oil dip stick was set by the engine, evident that someone put it there

liars. glad it worked out though

+++1 for thread good/bad dealerships.

Mine in ann arbor has been awesome. They all know me well by name and even called me once only to let me know there was an ECU update on my FX50 that just came out a few days prior. Talk about customer service!!

Thank you, Glendale Infiniti

The only part that i love about this dealer (Glendale Infiniti) is that they know suspension really well, and they catch things really quickly.. For example my wheel bearings coming apart, took my car into different places they didnt know what was wrong..
