Hi,

Last night my FX35 2009 had a big coolant leakage. At home I looked where the leak come from and found a broken union for two hose behind engine intake and firewall (see attached picture)

Can someone point me to the replacement part to fix this hose union/connector?

Thanks,

That makes we wonder if that’s where my leak is coming from bc I noticed some antifreeze missing from the reservoir.

I am not certain, but could you not take the clamps off and remove the piece of pipe that broke (it is probably plastic), and replace it with a suitable piece of copper or aluminum pipe.

yeah, don't go the plastic route since it could happen again. could be either 5/16" or 3/4"... i think most autoparts stores have the brass couplers or check out your local hardware stores. no time or effort to measure the old hose? just buy several of the sizes and return the unused ones later.

This is the OEM part

NEW OEM NISSAN INFINITI Heater Hose Connector 92500AR000 350Z G35 FX35 M35 M45 | eBay.

This is better by far

Z1 Coolant Bleeder Port - Heater Hose, Z1 Motorsports

I was planning to put a copper pipe but I was not able to remove clamps because didn't have the right tool and the narrow space. I end up taking the car to a Radiator Specialist next to my home.

At this point I didn't know what part number is. Guess what?.. they charged me $65 parts + $95 labor. They told me that I should not replace it with a straight pipe due to this is a bleeding point (take air out) when doing cooling system maintenance.

Looks I'm the first one in this forum with this kind of problem. I could save some bucks if could find out replacement part in advance.
