Question for anyone who has installed Coilovers with Sport package. As you know the the Continuous Damping Control will not work with coilovers so before I install on my FX50S, I would like opinions on ride and performance with coilovers. Aside from CDC error are there other technical issues that pop up. Thanks.

I just put custom BC coil over kit on my 09 Fx50s with sport and AWS package, Have the shop disconnect ECU and Battery and connectors and you will be fine, I had no engine issues or lights on after looks great and drives way better, I had broken rear shocks this was a better solution and about same cost, coil overs were 1500 from BC directly. and I love it. but also installed 22x11 NICHE 5 spoke silver and black rims and same matching tires for odometer
and only off 1mph at 70 so do it.

Bumping up the subject, planning to install BC Coilovers on my 2014 QX70s v8 with CDC, Megan Camber Arms and stuff...
Anyone has experience with BC Coilovers which seems to support CDC function from the Tehnology package ?

This is precisely what I want to do with my QX - did you have a go at it yet?

No, not yet unfortunately as I didnt find confirmation from anyone it is working properly.
Maybe I will pull the plug during the year, currently on search for bushing replacement for front part of the car (control arms & stuff).

Link is stating it is for FX50s, but should be exactly the same for QX70s :

BC Racing V-15-BR Coilover Kit, 09- S51 Infiniti FX50S AWD W/ CDC
BC Racing Coilover Kit BR-RH - Infiniti FX50S AWD (W/ CDC) S51 09 - 17

Soo... did someone actually do it? I need answers

I installed BC coilovers and Megan camber arms front and back last month on my V8 with CDC. You uplug the old CDC harness and that's it - there's no codes, nothing happens when you press the old switch and there's nothing on the new coilovers do do with the CDC. I do not know exactly what difference there is between the non-CDC and CDC coilover units but I think it may be the upper mount platform on the damper.

Just to be clear, there are no coilovers which support the CDC "function" - meaning that electronic ride control is gone.

It looks like Megan Racing makes coilovers specifically for the FX35/50 and 2014/15 QX70 with continuous damping.

This does not mean you retain, or have any CDC capability - the strut tops are different on CDC cars, that's why these are for models with CDC.
Thanks for the info. Was wondering what the actual difference was. I'm guessing that if someone really wanted to retain the feature, they could just build their own coilover with an oem strut and a custom spring.
