Today my temperature sensor read 103 here in Flushing. Even though it was extremely hot outside, I spent the day sprucing her up a bit. I spent about 6 hours doing her up and down up and down...literally

I washed the car, then applied glaze, sealant, and 4 layers of wax. No claybaring was needed cause I just had the car detailed at Big A detailing like a month or so ago. I just wanted some added protection over the paint and wanted to fill in the light swirls with a nice glaze cause it looked like the water beading wasn't working no more, and bird crap was starting to get harder and harder to remove.

Alot of extreme sun burn, and six hours later, this is how she looked:

Thanks!

BTW how are they going about painting the Scratch Shield Paint?

I mean the clear coat has a special resin in it called Scratch Shield Paint. I was wondering does the bodyshop use that paint?

o im not sure about that ill check in on that but im not a big fan of the whole infiniti paint it is realy sensetive

Scratch Shield makes it worse. The resin they use on the clear coat is wayyyyy too soft! Scratch Shield Paint doesn't even work. It's a total marketing gimmick. You have people saying it works and some saying it doesn't work. Truth is it really doesn't work. Anyone can argue back and forth with me, but nothing about the clear coat has proven to me that scratches do disappear. The clear coat is definately different from any other car I've seen. I'll give it to them on that though.

Luckily I'm getting a clear bra installed on the front bumper. The rest of the car is still in excellent condition though.

the whole self healing paint is bs and clear bra i wouldnt do that personaly
