CF Engine cover

Just wondering if anyone has put one of these covers on a FX, i looked but couldnt really find any decent pics...I wanna keep my cover off but i want something to cover the part of the block and all the wires...thanks..

Cover does nothing but retain heat. I'd leave it off. IMO Nothing wrong with a few wires,
unless of course your name is Rookie

What about the fact that you have a giant hood holding in all the heat right above it. I just don't buy the whole heat argument with regard to the engine cover. Someone show me some proof and I'll gladly insert my foot in my mouth.

unless you are going to be racing it, do you really have to worry about retaining heat considering the stock cover probably retains even more heat

This is a silly thread.
Do you have to be racing just to get a bit better, undocumented of course, efficiency from your engine?
The cover is an out of sight appearance mod. Who needs it? Besides, wouldnt you rather see your beautiful motor?
to top, heat is a killer in any application.

Look for a G CF cover. It's the one that looks just like the FX. The Z is shorter.
