CarPC in FX '06

Starting new project-CarPC in FX '06 /need data/

I'm going to install a carPC in my FX ( at fist wanted to install external navibox but change my mind and go with carputer that gives me much more options). Do you know what is OEM screen resolution?
Can you guide me to the place where I can find harness description?

I don't remember off hand the actual screen resolution, but honestly it doesn't even matter too much because the only interface to it is just composite which is a very low resolution, not good for a carpc.

I think there are 2 main ways to do it, first would be to relocate the stock screen (overhead works nice) & then put a higher res 800X480 touchscreen in the stock screens place, 2nd way would be to TRY & interface the stock screen RGB signal, then replace the stock screen with a higher res screen but be able to display the stock screen display, then toggle to the pc display. problem is the stock screen display is very hard to interface because it is RGB, but not only that, they use a proprietary sync setup, think it's a dual sync, & trying to interface to that type of RGB interface will take a custom interface, seen a few guys attempt without success, but I also heard of one guy who supposedly did get this working on an m35 too, so it may be possible...
